Helping Salado’s Community

Our Purpose is to sponsor events and activities that enhance, improve, and promote the Village of Salado. Additionally and equally important are the programs and activities that are social, educational, and inspirational.

Fundraising enables our organization to help programs in Salado. In recent years we have conducted several fundraisers including cookbooks, luncheons, upscale garage sales, online auctions, and more. The signature fundraiser is the Christmas in October Jingle Walk. This event brings our hometown residents and visitors from all over the state to our Main Street shops to enjoy a sneak peak at what services and products they offer.

Community Contributions are key to the organizations purpose. The members of the organization are dedicated and work tirelessly promoting the Village of Salado. We work closely with other nonprofits in our community to make sure all grants stay local. Organizations we have partnered with are: Salado Education Foundation, Salado Museum & College Park, The Salado Volunteers, Salado Family Relief, Salado ISD, Heart and Hands, Tablerock Festival, and Salado Community Chorus.

Scholarships are awarded each year by the Salado Ladies Community League to college bound or vocational/technical school bound students in Salado ISD.
